Kids learn coding, robots and AI by making things

Dev Gà is a free community and AI education platform that helps children learn STEAM, robotics, coding and AI through visual, interactive projects. Step through a for loop, light up LEDs, read a resistor's color bands and steer a robot. Every lesson is in Vietnamese and English.

Gà means chicken in Vietnamese. It's also what we call someone who's just starting out, and every expert was one once.

How a lesson works

Most lessons follow the same rhythm.

  1. Start with a story

Each idea opens with a short story, so you know why it matters before you see any code.

  2. Play with it

Press play, step through, drag a slider. The simulation shows what the code or circuit is doing.

  3. Try it yourself

Change the values and predict the result before you run it.

  4. Take the mini challenge

A short challenge at the end checks that the idea stuck.

New to Arduino? Follow the path.

Three lessons take you from "what is this board?" to understanding your first program.

  1. Why Arduino, and how to beginWhy Arduino matters and how to start your first project.
  2. The Arduino Uno board in 3DExplore the Uno's components and pins on a 3D model.
  3. How an Arduino program runsFollow setup() and loop() to see how a sketch runs.
